Question:
Can you please provide the thickness of the brake flange plate, and the position of where it is welded? We are designing a custom trailer, and need to account for this in our model.

Hey Luqmaan. The brake flange is 1/4" thick on the #84 E-Z Lube Spindle for 3,500 lbs Trailer Axle item # TRU74FR. The weld that holds the brake flange to the spindle is on the back side of the flange around the entire circumference of the spindle.
The #84 E-Z Lube Spindle item # TRU74FR is an EZ lube spindle designed for 3,500 lbs axles. It is 9" long overall and has a 1-3/4" diameter where it welds to the axle. It is sold individually and comes with a castle nut, tang washer, and D-washer.
What kind of custom trailer are you building and what do you plan on using it for? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
