Hey G, happy to help.
Both of these parts solve the same problem. They both reduce a 2 1/2" receiver down to a 2". If you are simply needing to reduce the size of your receiver and would prefer to save some money, I recommend going with the TowSmart Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" # TS75FR.
The most noteworthy benefit of the Blue Ox I found was, people have found it to be a tighter fit. If minimizing play between the receiver and reducer for something like a bike rack is important to you, I recommend going with the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" Trailer Hitch # BX88187. But again, they perform the same function.
What are you planning to use in the 2" receiver once you have it reduced down?
