How Many 120V AC Circuits Does the WF-8900-AD Power Center Support?

Question:
I am doing a custom gut and rebuild of a 68 Shasta Astroflyte and while looking at power options this unit caught my eye. One thing I want to confirm is how many 110v circuits it can accommodate. Im not really clear on that point. Thank you!

Hi Peter, great question, and a 1968 Shasta Astroflyte gut and rebuild sounds like a really fun project. This power center part # WF86FR can accommodate up to nine 120 volt AC branch circuits. The AC side has room for a total of ten breakers when using duplex breakers, with one position being used for the 30 amp main breaker and the remaining capacity giving you up to nine individual AC branch circuits.
That gives you quite a bit of flexibility for a smaller vintage trailer. You could separate things like your air conditioner, outlets, refrigerator, microwave, and other 120 volt loads instead of trying to cram everything onto just a couple of circuits. You’ll just want to size each breaker and wiring for the appliance or circuit it is protecting and remember that the trailer is still limited by the overall 30 amp shore power service.
You’ll have plenty of room on the 12 volt side too, with eleven DC fuse circuits available for things like your lights, water pump, fans, and other 12 volt equipment. What all are you planning to run on 120 volt power in the Shasta once you get her put back together?

Thank you for the excellent explanation. The only things I plan to run with 120v are a fridge, oven, and some outlets spread out around the camper for things like fans and maybe a heater. Nothing with a really big power draw.
