Looking for Replacement Converter Panel for 2005 Gulf Shore Cavalier
Updated 02/12/2026 | Published 02/09/2026 >
Question:
i have a 2005 Gulf Shore Cavalier that is getting a full inside upgrade from the floors to ceiling electrical included. I have a WF 8955 AN Power Converter with panel 30Amp. I will be completely off the grid using solar power with an inverter, also with the occasional shore power connection. I need to replace the electrical panel box. What do you suggest??

Hey Dee, we have the WFCO 8955 panel and converter with the part # WF86FR. This would be basically an exact replacement for what you have but also is the current/updated version that is compatible with more battery types. Did you panel get damaged?

Hi Jameson, thanks for responding. I am not sure if the panel is damaged/or does not work. I did not want to chance trying to see as the travel trailer had a lot of water damage for sitting up for years. So, I just told my electrician we will just replace it with a newer upgraded one. I do not have a slide out, or electrical awning, but I do want enough watts to add and electrical wall heater and a macerator pump to the travel trailer. I am looking at the panel I currently have. These are the specs: MODEL: WF-8955AN W/PLASTIC Panel Input: 120VAC 60 Hz 30 AMP Converter Input: 105-130VAC, 950 WATTS Output: 13.6, 55AMP (INC CHARGING AND LOAD)
