Bought a 2026 high country 290rl. Came with curt helix pin box. We have it paired with an Anderson. Don't like the way they separate when disconnecting and wondering if the new B&W gooseneck would be an improvement with chucking

Hey Vern, welcome back! The B&W Gooseneck Pin Box # BW83RV will definitely reduce chucking and smooth out your ride. Kevin from our installation and review video installed this on his Jayco and said there was a noticeable improvement while towing. Others have reported the same. It is also one less thing to deal with since you're removing the Andersen from the equation.
We have actually seen a lot of people upgrading to the B&W from the Curt Helux. The Helux uses the Rhino bolt pattern, and it looks like your GVWR is 16,225 lbs, so the 4.5K TW # BW83RV would be the right replacement for your setup.
