Will the MouseBlocker 1000x Protect Both the Living Area and Underbelly of My 5th Wheel?

Question:
If I were to install the MB 1000x in the main living area of my 8foot x 39foot 5th wheel camper, will it penetrate through the floor to the under belly to keep rats and mice out of there. This is the area where they enter first, then they find their way up to the living area.

Hello Theodore,
Thanks for writing in!
The MouseBlocker 1000x Electronic Rodent Deterrent # MB54FR is a great option for protecting the main living area of your 5th wheel. It will not, however, protect the underbelly when installed inside the camper. The ultrasonic sound does not travel through solid surfaces like your floor, walls, doors, and cabinets.
Since you know the mice are entering through the underbelly first, I recommend protecting both areas. Use # MB54FR inside the camper and the MouseBlocker 360x # MB64FR underneath the trailer (please see attached image). This gives you rodent protection underneath the 5th wheel where they're entering as well as inside the living area.
I would tell you just to use the one underneath, but I wouldn't want the mice looking for a quick escape from that area and finding their way farther inside the camper. That's why I'm suggesting using both. This way you're protecting the area where they're getting in as well as the living space you're trying to keep them out of.
Quite some time ago I was working on a farm in Neenach, CA, it was so creepy to drive at night because you would just see mice run across the street non stop, the rattlesnakes at like kings in that desert... but I do not suggest getting a rattlesnake for getting rid of the mice =)
Any last summer trips before putting the camper away in storage?

Since using the Mouse Blocker in our travel trailer there has been no mice . There have been no nests or evidence of their travels inside the trailer since the Mouse Blocker was placed , where before it was a bad problem. I have not checked underneath the trailer as that would be a job. Will see how the mouse problem is once the Mouse Blocker is disconnected when we take off on our trip as the sound from the unit really bothers my wife. If there are mice when we are on our trip that would indicate there are mice under the trailer and I will need to place a unit underneath the trailer as recommended by Kate F. I have been very happy with the unit as I was trapping at least 2 dozen mice a year and have to clean out all the drawers and other storage areas of there feces and this no longer a problem. I highly recommend this unit.

My issue was the detached garage was getting overrun by what appear to be Norway rats, at least that's what the pest management inspector told me. I bought the MouseBlocker 1000 as a deterrent to go along with the exclusion strategy. I've had it maybe a month. It didn't drive away the rats living in the garage as I had multiple catches using traps after starting use of the MouseBlocker. We'll see how it goes.

I use one of these in my shop and my garage and it has completely eliminated my rodent problems. I’m sure if you but it in both places as Kate F mentioned you should see a high improvement. I was genuinely amazed at how effective it works. I used to get multiple rodent nests in my shop over the winter and I couldn’t find any activity this year.
