If you're storing vehicles, tools, or seasonal gear in a large indoor area, the MouseBlocker 1000x is designed to help keep rodents from settling in. It works well in places like garages, barns, basements, or storage bays with access to a standard outlet. The unit is not water-resistant and should only be used in dry environments.

How It Works

The 1000x uses four long-range speakers to project ultrasonic sound in a three-directional pattern. Two alternating ultrasonic wave types cycle intermittently, helping discourage mice and other small animals without letting them adapt to the sound. While the device is inaudible to people, you can use the built-in test button to temporarily amplify the output and verify its working. A green power light and flashing blue light confirm the unit is operating.

Installation Tips

For best results, install the unit along a wall with the back facing the wall. Avoid placing it behind boxes, shelves, or other obstacles, as ultrasonic sound does not pass through solid objects. The device is made for continuous operation and may feel warm to the touch during use.

I would hate to claim an early victory, especially when it comes to getting rid of mice but it’s been four seasons now since I purchased the mouse blocker 1000 and I haven’t seen a mouse in the camper or the barn where I keep it. I started with putting it on the floor of the camper and then moved it outside into the barn where it covers a larger area and seems to work fine.

I just plugged this in for my shipping container where rodents could be a real problem with the contents I keep in there. Haven’t had a problem there yet but, better safe than sorry!

Communication was excellent order was delivered promptly and tracking was excellent. Have not had the product long enough to rate how well it works.

We live in the county on a 50 acre farm. We have an ongoing problem with birds and rodents getting into our garage, dying where we cannot find them, and really stinking. We have tried other methods like mothballs, but with no result. We hope that this will take care of the problem. If it does, I will give it 5 stars.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one I put in my garage to keep out mice. I have not had a mouse problem since I started using it.

The second one I put in a another building to deter ground hogs digging beneath it. So far, it has worked well.

I put one of these in my 2-car (Jeep) garage where there has been a rodent problem for years. I hope this solves that problem. There are pets, livestock and wildlife here so poisons are not a reasonable solution. Deterrent solutions have failed in the past. We’ll see how this one works!

Haven't seen any droppings or other rodent evidence anymore. I used to doubt it was even making any sounds until my new hearing aids picked up the frequency whenever I got close. I can clearly hear the pulsating sounds... it even drives me away. Ha!

I spoke with MouseBlocker directly and they said as long as you're connected to shore power then your best bet is to use the 1000x # MB54FR on the inside of the trailer, and the 360x # MB64FR outside and under the trailer. The Mouseblocker 1000 emits ultrasonic frequencies in the 25-45 kHz range, which is too high for them to hear it. Their hearing is quite a bit lower at 4 and 8 kHz so it won't even bother them. Plus those sound waves aren't going to penetrate the ground. The best way to get rid of them is going to be to use a live trap.
