Looking for Storage Box that Drops Down 10 inches for RV

Question:
Hello, I am looking for a storage box for under my camper with a drop-down front door. I would prefer aluminum but having a hard time finding a size that I am interested in. I would consider steel. The depth from the outside edge of the trailer under the trailer to my mounting points, I would like to be 12 inches the height of which it hangs down towards the ground I would really prefer 10 inches but would accept up to 12 inches. And the width that would run along the length of the trailer, I am flexible. It could be a 20 24 or 36 or ? inches. If there were multiple choices, I’m interested in four or five of these for different uses. It’s really hard to search sizes on your website. I was wondering if you could help Cut to the Chase. Thank you.

Hey Kevin, the MORryde Locking RV Storage Box part # MR43RR that you referenced has the dimensions of 10" deep x 10-1/2" tall, and is 25-3/4 inches. This is actually the only option we have that is close to the dimensions you are looking for and it is a great option overall so it is what I would recommend. What would you be storing in this compartment?

Before purchasing a storage box for this area, make sure that your manual crank-out for a slide out isn’t going to be blocked. This happened in my case and it was a difficult job cutting a hole in back corner of box to access the crank.

I intend to have a few of these side by side with all the outside gear. All the spatchulas tongs and cooking utensils so I so t have to run in and out 20 times. Another one with outside used “stuff”. Small solar lights, table cloths, dog leashes,/bowls, and things used around the campsite. Another with tools etc. all things I don’t use inside. Small geopro 19FD 20 ft, does not have large storage to start. Hoses, cables, griddle, jack blocks, other fitting and accessories , really takes up most of the good space. So…… the 10 edge to main frame underneath really wastes the 12” space I have. Seems minimal, but who wants to waste that. It may be my only option, but I may have to seek someone to make me custom ones to “make it worth it”. I am afraid to give that space away. Hope that helps.
