I have a question regarding your p/n 58846 double lip grease seal for 3500 boat trailer. My current seal has the designation GS-1719 DL and TRP, same as your photo of p/n 58846, BUT, the other nomenclature of my seal shows 2023 41 whereas your photo shows 2202 09. Can you clear this up for me or show me your equivalent part number? I want to buy the correct product for my 3500 boat trailer. Thanks, Jim McDonough

Thanks for writing in!
You're looking at the correct seal. The GS-1719 DL and TRP markings are the important identifiers, and they match the Double Lip Grease Seal # 58846 (or for 2 pack # RG06-050).
The additional numbers, such as "2023 41" on your seal and "2202 09" in our product photo, are manufacturing date and lot codes. Those numbers change from production run to production run and do not affect the seal's dimensions or fitment.
The # 58846 has a 1.719" inner diameter and a 2.565" outer diameter, making it the correct replacement as long as those dimensions match your hub and spindle. My Ranger boat trailer also has a 3,500 pound axle and uses these exact seals.

Chesapeake Bay is where we go. We'll go to Reedville, Kilmarnock, or Deltaville. I love the salt water (but, without stinging nettles)!! You also have Timken Brand seals just slightly more in cost than this product. Are they much better seals? Any additional benefit to me? Thanks Kate and please let me know. Jim McDonough
