I want to buy a 2024 Forest River RV Cherokee Alpha Wolf 26DBH-L but need to be certain I can install a rear hitch 2 receiver for minimally e-bikes and likely more weight. Please price a frame mounted and a rear bumper mounted sharing specs links so I can decide. Thank you.

Hey Neil. To add a rear hitch to your 2024 Forest River RV Cherokee Alpha Wolf 26DBH-L, I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 13703. This hitch works with frames from 22" wide to 72" wide and comes with the necessary installation hardware. The hitch can be bolted to the frame or welded. It has a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight so it's got plenty of capacity for a couple of e-bikes and a bike rack.

The simple bolt to the bumper hitches like item # E-100 won't be compatible with any bike rack or cargo carrier rated for a travel trailer so you'll want to stay completely away from those.
