Will Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Rack part # KU89SR Clear Rear Spare of Jeep Wrangler

Question:
Hello, I have a 2019 Jeep JLU. It has the rear spare tire mount. I’m looking at this Kuat Ion rack because I have a couple of very heavy e bikes about 70 lbs each. My hitch is the Jeep factory towing package CLASS III 2 inch hitch. I need to know if the Kuat rack will have enough clearance from hitch pin hole to load the bike without spare tire interference.

Hey Phil, yes the Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Rack part # KU89SR will fit the hitch you have installed on your 2019 Jeep Wrangler and will clear the rear spare as this bike rack has 14-1/4 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest part of the rack which is more than enough as we have found to clear Wrangler spares. This has the needed weight capacity for your 70 lb bikes too. This is also a really nice bike rack that you will really love so you'll be really happy with it.

Thank you for that info. I’m currently in the process of buying two Specialized Turbo Vado 3 X 6.0s. However, I’m still in the process of getting all my ducks in a row to verify that I’ve got the rack/hitch assembly to carry these monsters.
