Do I Have to Strip the Wires When Using the TowSmart 4-Way Flat Connector Repair Kit?

I just purchased TowSmart 4-Way Flat Connector Rapid Repair Trailer Wiring Kit Part Number: TS68QR from you. When I install it, should I strip the wires or just put them in with insulation intact? Thank you!

Hey Daniel, welcome back! You do not have to strip the wires before installing them on the TowSmart 4-Way Flat Connector Rapid Repair Trailer Wiring Kit item # TS68QR.
The 4-way connectors have sharp metal prongs that slice the wiring insulation or sheath. Once you put the cap on it'll push the wires into the prongs. It'll give you a secure reliable connection for conducting the lighting signals from your tow vehicle.
I attached a couple of pictures below so you can see the prongs.
What kind of trailer are you replacing the 4-way connector on?
