Can Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack be Used with Standard Height Vehicles

Question:

Hello, Can this be used for a regular Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 and a stock Ram 2500 Cummins 4X4 or is it too tall and only meant for lifted vehicles? Thanks!

Hey Mark, the Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack # PM34FR can definitely be used on standard height vehicles like your Jeep or your Ram. It comes with extensions for the jack so that it can be used with taller vehicles but if you remove those it will work just like a standard bottle jack. Are you wanting this for around the house or would you put one in both vehicles for like spare changing?

I've used this jack on my RV , and on my 2025 ram 2500,,,,it will absolutely work on most trucks or jeeps,,,its not going to work on a smaller car or suv but most 4x4 or 2x4 trucks it will definitely work,,its a normal sized bottle jack with a built in flat plate on the bottom to give the jack support,,,the extension that come with this jack is what makes it a game changer for tall rvs ,5th wheels or class c type vehicles,,,,

I use my tall bottle jack in everything with the large skid plate makes it easy to slide it on pavement or cement or packed gravel and works great in stand size suspension vehicles with all the extra height when needed
