Do Sections Of Caliber EdgeGlide XL Operate As One Unit

So they snap together to operate as one unit or individually?

Hey Ray! The individual sections on the Caliber EdgeGlide XL Transition Plates # CA97EJ connect on the back to operate as a single unit. This comes with rubber links and fasteners to connect the sections so they will move together. See the attached photo.

Okay that’s great, also, my 72” mower weighs about 1500+ lbs what’s the weight limit?

@RayS Caliber does not publish a weight rating for the EdgeGlide XL # CA97EJ. However, it is designed for use with car haulers and utility trailers, so your 1,500 lb mower won't be an issue. The limiting factor is generally the capacity of your trailer ramp rather than the EdgeGlide itself.

@RayS. These XL worked great on the ends of my Triton 7.5’ x 23’ with tip down doors. Perfectly covers/extends and protects double rubber seal from studded sleds, UTV and ATV. Mine connected so hinges as one unit. Also, nicely fold back maybe 115-120 deg so they clear top of enclosure allowing you to mount on the very end of the door which gives greater span to the ground. I used the smaller/regular glide over the door to enclosure/bed hinges. I would attach pictures if system allowed.
