Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Caliber EdgeGlide XL transition plates for your enclosed trailers. Now folks, this is going to give you a total of eight foot long length. Now there are four two-foot long or 24-inch long pieces, so two, four, six, eight. Put them side by side by side, and that's going to give you that full eight foot.
Now I will throw up an image real quick of what this looks like installed, more or less. And as you can see, it gives you a great transition from the ground up and onto the enclosed trailer ramp gate, and then up inside. And they give you these built-in traction knobs, which are going to give you nice grip for tires and foot traffic when you're loading and unloading. And you can see that nice profile there, and these can fold up or down a whole lot. And that's going to give you that ease of use that you need for installing and opening and closing.
And you have all the installation hardware included. I just left all that bagged up here for space. And again, these would go side by side. And then whenever they're installed, you could easily open and close them as needed. So again, these are the EdgeGlide XL plates.
So if you're used to the 2.0 glides that are out there, these are 50% more coverage, and the surface area is bigger than those EdgeGlide 2.0. So the increased size and strength make it ideal for those multi-use trailers, including car haulers, utility trailers, and those kind of things. So again, drilling is required to install this, but again, you do have all the hardware included. So it's a pretty easy install, nothing to worry about, nothing too hard or anything. And again, folks, this is going to be great.
It's a proprietary blend. It's going to reduce friction. It's a blend of resin and that provides effortless loading and unloading of your snowmobiles whenever you're loading and unloading them for your winter fun. THE HARDWARE REQUIRES TWO SPECIFIC BITS , one with a square head and one with a start head. they do not include these bits. also the push in pieces that are supposed to secure the rotation pin do not fit well at all. instruction sheet is less than excellent. just a few weeks needed to make this a great product
First time rolling over the “plastic” plate the hinges cracked, when I purchased this I thought it was aluminum.

Works well! I installed on rear door of my enclosed 4 place trailer. Right now I still have my industrial/commercial mowers in there and they are 1200lbs. At 70degrees outside, they are working great. In a couple weeks, I will be putting snowmobiles is there and testing it cold. They were easy to trim on table saw with any type blade. All hardware was included and was easy to install. They do only fold up to 90degrees so do not think that you can install them full width of door, because when you close the door, they will hit the cables at the top when closing door.
In short, I was planning to build the ramp myself. While looking at your website,I found the Caliber EdgeGuideXL Transition plate already made. After call and talking to one of the techsupport people, I ordered the product. It arrived today and I was more than pleased with the quality and looks of the product. After a quick measurement, I cut 12 inches off the forth panel and it fit my trailer door perfectly.
