Question:
Will the ride rite 2407 air bags on 2023 tacoma 4 door long bed be an issue when I put the truck on the lift for service? Since the suspension will hang down when the truck is on the lift.

Hello Steven,
Thanks for writing in!
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2407 will be a great fit for your 2023 Toyota Tacoma 4-door long bed, as long as your axle is located below the leaf spring pack. Please see attached image.
You won't have any issues putting your Tacoma on a lift for routine service. The # F2407 kit is designed to allow the suspension to cycle through its full range of travel, including when the rear axle hangs as the truck is lifted by the frame. As long as the air springs are installed according to Firestone's instructions, having the suspension hang while the truck is on a lift will not harm the air springs or the mounting brackets.
One thing I always recommend is keeping at least the minimum 5 psi of air in the springs, even when you're not towing or hauling. That minimum pressure helps the air springs maintain their shape and prevents damage that can occur if they are run completely deflated. You can then add air as needed to level the truck and support your load.
If you'd like to make adjusting the air pressure even easier, you may also want to consider the Firestone Air Command Standard Duty Air Compressor # F36VV. It lets you adjust the pressure from inside the cab using either the included remote or the smartphone app, and the dual-path system allows you to control each air spring independently.
What are you towing or hauling with your Tacoma that has you looking for the extra suspension support?

Get the Daystar cradles and have zero worries about potential air bag tearing at full droop. I also have a 3rd gen DCLB Tacoma and had your same concern so installed the above cradles and rest easy now.

I use the daystar cradles and have no issues at all. It keeps them from stretching out to much

I ordered these and they have been great. I have a four wheel camper and used these with an upgraded leaf pack and stock shocks for a while. These completely helped with the sag along with the leaf springs. New shocks helped the ride quality substantially. I would recommend getting a set of cradles prior to initial install. The cradles free up the bottom attachment. This way if you use full extension of your suspension (especially with a lift) you won’t tear the bags

I installed them on a 2013 extended cab Tacoma and it's been up on a Toyota lift with no reported problem. Hope this helps! Keith
