I have a 2018 Ford F150 XLT with a 6 suspension lift, short 5.5 bed, 1700lbs payload. Im trying to find out if I can carry a 2015 Palamino Backpack SS-1251 1750 dry weight without damaging my truck? If so, what in bed mounts are needed? Also, will my 2022 F250 short bed mounts work on my F150? TY

Based on the information you provided, I wouldn't recommend carrying an in-bed camper of that size with your truck. Although the camper's listed dry weight is close to your truck's payload rating, once you add water, propane, batteries, gear, and other camping supplies, you'd be well over your available payload. That's before factoring in passengers or anything else you're carrying in the truck.
Whether you decide on this camper or a lighter model, you'll need camper tie-downs that are designed specifically for your 2018 Ford F-150. Unfortunately, the tie-downs from your F-250 will not transfer over.
I'd go with something like TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front and Rear # TL78PR because they attach directly to the truck's frame, providing a secure, vehicle-specific mounting point for your camper while minimizing stress on the truck bed.
To recommend the correct TorkLift tie-down kit for your F-150, I'll need a little more information:
Bed length (5-1/2', 6-1/2', or 8')
Running board style (none, cab-length, wheel-to-wheel, or power-deployable)
Rear hitch type (factory hitch, aftermarket hitch, or TorkLift SuperHitch)
Once I have that information, I'll be happy to point you to the correct front and rear tie-down kit.
