Where do I plug this brake controller in to my 2017 f 150?

The Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller # HM47294 will install in your 2017 Ford F-150 by using the Plug-In Adapter # HM47845. The adapter will plug into the connector which is installed behind a side panel between your steering wheel and your radio.

You will need to disconnect the connector from that side panel (which is where an OEM controller would normally sit) and bring it to the underside of your driver side dash for installation. I have attached a video of the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 being installed on a 2016 Ford F-150 that you can use as a reference. You will want to start at the 3:47 mark. My contact at Hopkins did say that instead of removing that whole panel you might be able to simply reach behind that panel and disconnect it.
