Looking for Rubber Gasket for Sealing RV Roof Vent Lid to Assembly

Question:
Do you sell the replacement rubber gasket that goes under the 14 /x14 roof dome like the fantastic cover. I need to buy both?

Hey Toni, we have the replacement gasket for RV roof vent lids that seals the lid to the opening with the part # BVD0455-01. Is that all you need or do you need a lid as well?

I replaced both the lid, gasket due to hail damage and then a few months later the inner screen as it was very brittle. I should have done at same time but oh well. I Did the lid and gasket from the roof and the screen from the inside John

I replaced the gasket because of leaks. The process was easy and the part affordable, but it turned out the leaks were from another area. Still worth doing.

I replaced the seal 2 years ago along with the screen / frame as the frame had become very brittle and was breaking up. I found installing the frame to be tricky as it would not stay in place while I was working it on. Before writing this response, I inspected the seal and it had come off on two edges.

This part worked with the Ventadome. Do not know if it works with Fantastic Vent. On the Ventadome it was tricky to install, needs to be glued on. To do it well, the dome needs to be removed and replaced to get access from above to glue and get positioned correctly

I did the same thing last summer Toni. Same parts and it worked well. You can do the seal after you put the door on from the inside if you have to but it’s easier doing it up top.
