Can I Add the Lippert LED Light Kit to the etrailer Replacement Awning Fabric?

Does this include an awning light cord? Im looking to install a Lippert awning light kit PN 674283 and want to see if I can install that to this.

Hello again Howard,

The Replacement Fabric for Motorized RV Patio Awning # e58QV is not designed with the PrepFlex light track required for the LED Light Kit w/ Switch for Solera RV Awnings with PrepFlex Fabric # LC674283. Without that PrepFlex feature, there isn't a compatible channel for the light kit to slide into.

If you're planning to add # LC674283, I'd recommend the Solera Power & Hybrid Series RV Awning - 16' Wide - 8' Projection - Silver Fade # SO55YR instead. It comes with PrepFlex fabric, so the integrated channel for the light strip is already built in. That makes installing the light kit much simpler since the LED strip slides right into the awning fabric and connects to the wiring included with the light kit. Just please make sure to confirm that yours is indeed 16 feet.

How did that spindle replacement go? Did something happen to your current fabric, or just trying to get the right kit to add the lights?
