Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. Yes, we have just the thing! Take a look at the following:
- Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550046
This is a 21K Demco 5th wheel hitch designed specifically to attach to a recessed gooseneck ball on a flatbed. It has a single piece wraparound jaw which makes for a super solid connection. The head can pivot too which makes towing a lot smoother.
Just keep in mind the recessed opening on the flatbed must be at least 8" long and 5" wide. Also, the top of the gooseneck ball must be at least 13/16" or closer to the top of the bed. As long as your setup meets these criteria, it will work great and you'll be good to go.
What kind of camper will you be hauling?

I purchased the 21K Demco hitch for my truck last year. My truck has a flatbed with a recesses ball which is welded to the bed. This hitch worked perfectly and has great adjustment features.

We use ours to pull a 43 foot 5th wheel camper and it does a great job I also like that it doesn’t have the chucking like some others cause.

I’ve been all over the western US with mine pulling a 38’ toy hauler and I’m very happy with it. Check that the top of the ball is within 1” below the bed surface

I bought one few years back. It worked good no issues. I did sale mine when I bought a new truck and I do know that it has to be an actual tall ball ment for a goose neck not just a 2-5/16 ball welded in. Most people buy a 2-5/16 ball meant for a bumper and weld them in and it won’t work.

Brian, I purchased mine about 2 years ago and I love it. It's nice because i don't have rails or other obstacles in the way when i am not using the hitch. You will need to take the plate off that covers the recessed ball. The only thing I would have done different is look at possibly purchasing the aluminum hitch instead of steel. I have a 2011 F250 with flatbed on 35" tires so picking the steel hitch up and setting on the truck gets a little old since i don't leave the hitch on the truck all the time.
