Recommended brake controller for 2025 Kia Telluride S with factory hitch and wiring. Also sway bar and leveler. Trailer is 2016 Wells cargo trailer with weight 3000 lbs with cargo.

Hey David! For a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. This brake controller, is simple, reliable, and has an OEM look once installed. Since you have the tow package you can use the # C77BR along with the # 331-TPH-019 for a plug and play installation.
When you say a sway bar and leveler I'm assuming you're referring to a weight distribution hitch (WDH). To choose the right hitch we need the tongue weight of your setup, which is typically 10-15% of your loaded trailer weight. At 15% of your 3,000 lbs that puts it at 450 lbs. Based on this I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # FA92-00-0450.
This Fastway system is designed for tongue weights up to 450 lbs which will cover you fully loaded or if you're running it a little lighter. This WDH has 2-point friction sway control which will be more than enough for a trailer at that weight. You will also need # 40038 for a 2" ball or # C40007 for a 2-5/16" ball.

Love this kit that I got form etrailer performe great and its inconspicuous the only problem I can see is the dash brake control button is a little too small and hard to see for adjustment when driving but beside that great system and easy to install with there videos.
