Tekonsha Brake Controller Installation in 2011 Ford Expedition With Factory 7-Way Connector
Updated 07/21/2014 | Published 07/18/2014 >
Question:
I have a 2011 Ford Expedition which already has the brake controller harness. I see the Tekonsha P2 is listed as compatible, but not the p3. Is that right? They seem the same except for the led read outs. Is it also plug and play installed? Didnt see a video for the p3 but for the p2. Thanks.

Expert Reply:
Brake controllers such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 and the P3 # 90195 are not vehicle-specific so either will work fine in your 2011 Ford Expedition with factory 7-Way connector. Both will use the same wiring adapter # 3035-P to connect to the under-dash port on your Expedition. Installation videos for both controllers are linked for your reference.
