Question:
I have a 2026 Brinkley 2900 Z fifth wheel. I want to convert to Gooseneck. I see Curt makes a Helix conversion. Is this direct bolt on to my unit since I have the Helix hitch? Do you think this is the best solution??

Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt Helux 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Shock-Absorbing Pin Box will indeed be a direct bolt on replacement for your current Helux pin box. Right now, the Curt helix only supports the Lippert Rhino pin box bolt pattern. So, if your pin box is a Helux, there is only one possible bolt pattern it can use.
That said, for your 2026 Brinkley 2900 Z fifth wheel, you'll need the following:
- Curt Helux 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Shock-Absorbing Pin Box Adapter - 20K GTW - 2,700 lbs TW # C54HB
