Question:

Is this a complete kit? Frame brackets, bed brackets, etc or do I need to purchase something additionally?

The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider for Chevy/GMC - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs (#BW27XR) is a complete installation kit for your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500. In addition to the B&W Patriot 5th wheel hitch, it includes the universal above-bed base rails, vehicle-specific under-bed frame brackets, and all of the necessary installation hardware. I've also included a couple of photos showing everything that's included. Installation of the Patriot Slider hitch does requires a large torque wrench capable of measuring 110 ft-lbs.

This kit is designed specifically for a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 6-1/2-foot bed that does not have the OEM Fifth Wheel Prep Package (also known as the puck system). If that's your truck, it's hard to beat B&W for quality, durability, and towing performance.

If your truck has a different bed length or is equipped with the OEM prep package, just let me know and I'd be happy to recommend the correct setup.
