Best Front Hitch For 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon

Hi, Does the front receiver hitch work on a 2022 Ram Power Wagon 2500 ? The Power Wagon has plastic brush plates in front as stock so I’m not sure these will work?

Hey John, thanks for reaching out. We do have a front hitch for the 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, but the EcoHitch # EH37FR you mentioned will not fit the power wagon models. What you will need instead is the following:

- Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C73ZV

This is the only front hitch we offer that fits the power wagon model. We've had several customers buy one and report back to us it does fit the power wagon. I checked with Curt and they confirm this as well. Some bumper fascia trimming will be required though.

@JohnC Ok awesome! It has a 500 lb tongue weight rating, so that'll be more than enough for a few bikes.

@JesseM @Johnc I have a 2022 Ram Power Wagon with the factory winch. I ordered the # C73ZV for my truck. With the winch on the truck, I had to modify the hitch. I had to cut front bolt holes off in a quarter circle pattern to get it tight under front bumper. I did have to trim the front air dam. I now only have 4 bolts holding hitch on truck. That said, the hitch holds a surf rod rack and a cooler, never more than 75lbs at most. Not sure if 4 bolts would hold E bikes.

@Neal Ok gotcha. Good to know! Yea with only 4 bolt in, I'd definitely be careful about the weight. For a rod holder you should be fine though. Unless you hook a real monster lol
