What is Advantage to Going Integrated Hub/Rotor Disc Brake Setups or Slip On Discs Trailer Brakes

I am interested in doing an eoh conversion on an airstream 16rb bambi. I was wondering about the advantage of going with a hub and rotor versus a one piece combo.

Hey Con, this is a great question but it really comes down to how easy do you want it to be to replace rotors. The slip on kits are pretty easy to swap rotors on as they just "slip on" to the hub over the studs. Whereas a hub/rotor kit like the # T2HRCM10DAC has this all integrated. So it's a initially a bit simpler to go with an integrated kit as it's one less thing to worry about but if you think you'll wear out rotors a slip on kit is better. That said most of what we sell in hub/rotor kits that are integrated and we don't see many rotors wearing out. Now if somehow you had idler hubs already on the trailer and were wanting to go disc then a slip on kit like the part # K2R35DS that you referenced would make more sense.
We actually have kits for 3,500 lb axles that have everything you'd need to add disc brakes wit the part # HYD62FR for if you wanted a slip on setup or the part # HYD92FR for if you want the hub/rotors. Do you have brakes currently?

ONE ADVANTAGE IS IF YOU WANT TO TURN THE ROTOR YOU DONT HAVE TO MESS WITH THE BEARINGS
