Question:
I have a question regarding my recent purchase of 10 Kodiak SS trailer brakes. How do you go about changing the outer brake pad on the caliper? It seems to be locked in place. How does it come out of the caliper?

Hey Doug. You'll need to loosen the bolts and remove the caliper off of the rotor enough to slide the outer brake pads up and out on the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Stainless Steel - 3,500 lbs item # K2R35S.
Why are you trying to change the brake pads in a brand new disc brake kit?
