Does The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch BWRVK3305 Come With All Necessary Hardware?

Question:
Upon ordering, does the system come with all the necessary hardware for mounting? This is for a 2026 Ford F-350 with the OEM prep package. And, is installation a complex process like it is recommended to have a professional install it?

Hey Jack, thanks for reaching out. I see you already got the B&W # BWRVK3305 hitch on order but I wanted to make sure your question was answered.
Yes, that hitch does come with all of the necessary hardware for mounting. Since your truck already has the OEM prep package, installation will be pretty easy. Basically, all you have to do is install the uprights to the base of the hitch, then set the head unit on top. The hitch itself will just drop down into the pucks. Assembly is easy, the hardest part will probably be lifting the hitch into the bed. You can separate the base from the head which makes the lifting weight a bit easier to manage.
As long as you have your tools handy, I'd say you could go from box to bed in under an hour. As long as you have a bit of know-how, and the ability to lift the hitch, you should be able to do it yourself without too much trouble.

Very happy with the B&W Companion OEM hitch. Everything is included with the purchase, it is an easy install as long as you have the Ford Super-duty hitch prep package. The hitch is drop in and go. Chuck

We have a 2024 F350 CCLB DRW with the factory puck system. I ordered the B&W 25k Companion hitch for our 37' 12000 lb fw. It comes in a few pieces so you can set the height of the top piece for your truck. I used the center holes in the side brackets and they worked just fine. The hitch is not difficult to assemble as there only a few pieces. Its good to assemble it yourself so you know where to lubricate yearly. The hitch installs very easily. I put a small lock between the silver handles on either side so the hitch can't be removed from my truck without the keys. When I need the bed of the truck to help one of our kids move, the hitch comes out in two pieces so its easier to move. After owning this, I wouldn't use anything else. It hitches and unhitches very easy. It has a very secure feeling when towing - zero chucking. I highly recommend the B&W Companion hitch for the OEM prep.

I moved from a B&W 20k Companion slider hitch that I used in my short bed 2019 F250 to the B&W 25k Companion non-slider 5th wheel hitch that I use in my 2023 F350 DRW. Both hitches are outstanding and come with all the hardware for installation into a Ford Puck system. I had zero issues with the install of either and both perform flawlessly. And, of course, etrailer delivered on-time and undamaged.
