Can etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar Be Installed From Top Of Receiver

Question:

On my vehicle it wouldnt install from the bottom. I turned it over and installed from the top with the knob at the top. Do you see any issues with this?

Hi Bill; the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV won't work properly if you install it from the top with the knob sticking up. If you can't get it on the receiver from the bottom you can install it from the side. See the attached photo.

Hey John, sorry to hear about the knob of the etrailer anti-rattle device part #e38FV getting knocked off but we unfortunately do not have a version of this with a knob on the side.
