Question:
I have a Yakima rack and roll trailer. I had an incident where the trailer came off of the tow. Ball and the coupler of the trailer is damaged. I need to replace the coupler at the end of the arm for the trailer to hook back onto a tow ball. Do you sell this particular part?

Hi Elliot,
I'm really sorry to hear that you had an incident with your trailer!
We do have a replacement Yakima Trailer Coupler for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers part # Y08123 that'll replace your original trailer's coupler. The original coupler is for a 1 7/8" ball, but this coupler is intended to upgrade you to a 2" hitch ball. It'll still fit on the trailer, but you may need to get a 2" hitch ball if you don't already have one. If you need the replacement handle that attached to the coupler, we also carry the Replacement Handle for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # 8880170 so you can use it to move the trailer by hand if needed.
What do you usually carry on your Rack and Roll trailer?

I have the rack and roll 2005 before yakima bought it and all my trailers need a 2 inch ball, so I ordered the yakima rack and roll coupler 2” and it works perfectly, no need to swap my hitches.

i had a similar instance and needed to replace my hitch. stupidly, i went to the big box store down the road and bought a hitch that didnt fit. i searched on google and didnt find anything i was sure would work and then tried etrailer where i bought my trailer from. it was years ago so i dont remember many details of ordering or the help i got from them but i got the hitch and am very satisfied. this is a great company to do business with.
