Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this trailer coupler for your Yakima rack and roll trailer. Now, this is going to convert your Yakima rack and roll trailer to fit a two-inch trailer hitch ball while replacing your existing 1 7/8-inch ball coupler. Lemme go ahead and just give you a brief demonstration here. I've got a two-inch hitch ball right here. And so, as you no doubt know, you're just going to lift the lever and then bring that down and then that's going to secure on that two-inch hitch.
Now, this is going to be an easy bolt-on installation. And this is made of galvanized aluminum, so it's going to be durable, resistant to corrosion, and this is going to fit your two-inch tongue on your rack and roll trailer. I have a pre yakima rack and roll trailer, so I wasn’t positive the replacements would work, but they did!
i ordered a wrong part as description seemes to work. i looked up the part no. on a very old yakima catalog i had and they replaced it. it now aligns with the bolt holes on the trailer. pleasure dealing with etrailer.
