Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars for 2014 Silverado 1500 Double Cab

Updated 06/23/2026 | Published 06/18/2026

Question:

Do you have any installation videos for the 2014 Silverado 1500 Double cab body mount installation? Also based on this picture can you confirm this is double cab as I believe and that the Westin 23-3810 Round Nerf bars will be a custom fit for this Double Cab work truck.? Thanks!

Hey Dave! I'm sorry to say we don't have an installation video for the Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars # 23-3810. We only get those videos when someone brings in their vehicle for installation.

I can confirm from your picture that you do have the double cab model with the smaller rear doors. This means the # 23-3810 will fit your truck. I went ahead and attached the installation instructions further down on this page for your reference.

What do you typically tow or haul with your Silverado?

We have a 1999 Lowe Sea Nymph 165SC V-series (deep V) fishing boat that the Silverado is used to pull. It has front mounted trolling motor, Minnkota Anchor winches with 1on the front and 1 on the rear and 40 hp outboard motor. As a few of the main options. Outside of a couple of fish finders that don't weigh much.

@Dave very cool! I'm sure that has seen its share of fishing trips over the years, and it sounds like you've got it set up nicely. I bet it's made a lot of great memories on the water.

@RobinH Is there a way to send what I have regarding torque specs for the different installation bolts including the body mount bolts, that I made up from the installation sheet info for your review? Though on the 3 body mount bolts on each side of the vehicle, I don't know if all of them are considered to be M14 bolts.

@Dave you can reply to the email with the link for this page but it should be M14 bolts on the truck with the only M10 being what is provided. Those are the only two things with a torque spec.
