Yes, the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger, # PD9260C can be used to replace a 50-Amp charger model but you will need to ensure the wire from the charger to the battery bank is suffiently sized and update if needed. For a 60 amp rating such as that on the # PD9260C, I recommend at least 6 AWG for 1 to 10 feet of length from your battery bank to the Progressive Dynamics Smart Battery Charger and 4 AWG for up to 20 feet between the two.
