Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at this RV Designer weather-resistant compartment non-locking thumb turn. Now folks, this is designed to hold storage doors shut without having to worry about a key lock. So this is considered a 1 1/2 inch shaft. So we're measuring from the bottom here, the usable length.
We do carry these in different lengths, so if you're replacing one, make sure you're matching it up by length. Again, we have multiple ones available. You can find them separately here at etrailer. And this thumb turn is very simple to use. You'll put the washer on the nut and then the end cap here to hold on the cam.
They give you both cam options, straight and offset, depending on what you need for your specific setup. So you should be good to go and covered no matter what the situation is.
