Hello Kurt, thanks for reaching out. It is fine to replace the WFCO 55 amp converter with a 60 amp. That is not enough extra amperage to cause any problems. In fact, the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD79RR is exactly what we recommend for replacing the WFCO WF-9855. This model is even compatible with lithium batteries if you ever want to upgrade.
