Hey Uli. So long as your 2025 Mercedes G-Wagon has a 2" hitch, the Kuat Pivot v3 Swing Away Hitch Extender item # KU38CR will work great. There is one measurement you'll want to take though because I see a couple of different hitch options for your SUV. The closest portion of the Pivot v3 item # KU38CR is 5-3/4" away from the hitch pin hole. You will want to make sure the edge of your bumper is less than that.

The Pivot v3 item # KU38CR has a 250 lbs weight capacity and swings to 90º and 120º out on the passenger side. It's going to extend the attachment point for your bike rack out 13-5/8" from your G-Wagon's hitch pin hole.

Please note that using a swing away extender like the Pivot v3 item # KU38CR will reduce your hitch's capacities by 50%.
