Would like a cargo hitch carrier for promaster van that wont interfere with rear door opening

Hey Jay! To clear maintain access to the rear doors on your ProMaster you will need a swing away cargo carrier. I have two options for you.
The first is to use a traditional cargo carrier like # C18152 (or # C63ZJ with cage) and an adapter like the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483. This will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50%, and you'll be limited to the 250 lb capacity of the adapter. Kuat makes the heavy duty # KU37KR which gets up to 350 lbs but it is pricey.
The second option is the Yakima EXO system. You can use the enclosed carrier # Y62VR or basket # Y72VR. You can also stack them for additional storage # Y74ZR or # Y44ZR. This is a little more extensive than a traditional setup, but if you want a lot of space, and like the modular aspect, it is a great system but carries an even higher cost.
What will you be using the carrier for?
