Hello - will this rack work for a 2024 Ford Bronco with Sasquatch package 35foot wheel/tire on tailgate? Im presuming an extender would be necessary? Thank you, Joe

Hey Joe,
I spoke with Kuat since I didn't have a Kuat Piston SR Bike Rack # KU88ZR on hand to measure and they stated that from the center of the hitch pin hole in the shank to the start of the wheel tray is 9-1/2". You would likely need a hitch extender like the # HL20B in order to clear the spare tire on the back of your Bronco. The # HL20B can add on an additional 7" or 10" of clearance but will reduce the capacity of your trailer hitch by 50%. The 50% reduction likely won't be that detrimental since you're only hauling one bike but you'll still want to ensure you're not overloading the hitch.
Kuat also offers a swing-away adapter # PVD20B (driver's side) or # PVP20B (passenger side) that will give you 12-3/16" of clearance and allow you to swing the bike rack away to open the rear hatch without having to remove the rack/bike. This would also reduce the hitch capacity by 50%.
