Replacement Hardware for Sears X-Cargo Sport 20 Cargo Box

Question:
I have a Sears X-Cargo Sport 20 cargo box manual lists the original U-bolt as part 09483. One of my U-bolts is missing. Would the SportRack replacement U-bolt SR050059 work as a replacement for part 09483? If not, is there an individual replacement available for the original 09483 U-bolt, or a compatible substitute that fits the original X-Cargo Sport 20 mounting hardware

Hi Jackie!
Back in the day Thule made most of the cargo boxes for Sears, thankfully, Thule makes Replacement Hardware Kit for Searsbox Cargo Box part # TH05603 that will work perfectly for you. This kit contains the exact U-bolts that you'll need as well as additional brackets and plugs for the cargo box. The U-bolts measure 4" wide and 2" deep, if you want to measure what you have now to compare. We don't offer just the U-bolts individually for sale, but with the new hardware maybe you can give your cargo box a full refresh! I've included a link to a review video explaining more about exactly what items are in the kit for you as well.
