Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this SportRack Replacement U-Bolt. Now, this is going to replace one U-bolt for your SportRack roof baskets. And the size of this is M6 x 4", and this is PVC coated. So this is going to be just like that original that you're needing to replace, whether somehow that original got damaged or misplaced.

The replacement U-Bolts for the Sportrack Roof Basket will work fine.
I was a little disappointed that etrailer does not stock the special M6 wingnuts that fit this u-bolt made for the Sportrack Roof Basket.

Ive been looking now for awhile for a replacement ubolt for my old Yakima Spacecase car Carrier. This worked great. Does not mention my carrier by name, but the measurements were helpful and it fit perfectly. So you can add Yakima Spacecase as a compatible carrier for this part.

- What are the Dimensions of the Replacement U-Bolt for Thule Sidekick?The bolt to bolt spacing on the Replacement U-Bolt for the Thule Sidekick item # TH02943 is 4". It is 2" deep overall. I have linked a diagram below that will show you these measurements and a couple more. They are different dimensions along with the coating.

Instead of buying the whole Replacement Hardware Kit for Searsbox Cargo Box # TH05603, you may be able to use U-Bolt # SR050059 with Wingnut # TH04877 and just order however many you need. The one thing to keep in mind is that the original U-bolts are about 4-3/16" apart center-to-center, while # SR050059 is right around 4". That’s close enough that it may slide into the existing mounting holes as-is, but you could potentially need to spread the U-bolt slightly or enlarge the...
