Jeff Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement 50 millimeter U-bolt for the Thule Canyon and the Thule Trail roof cargo basket. Now, this part will replace the 50 millimeter by 90 millimeter U-bolt that's on your Thule roof cargo basket. Now, the measurement, when we say 50 millimeters, that's gonna be the overall height of the U-bolt. And it is the overall there or the outside, so from here to the very tip.

So, if we put a ruler on that, the 50 millimeters translates to just about two inches. And then the 90 millimeters, that's the inside width, which is the portion measured inside here. So again, if we put our ruler on that, 90 millimeters is about 3 5/8 inches. Now, this U-bolt is used to attach your cargo basket to your crossbar. This does fit the Thule Canyon, part number TH859 and TH859XT, and the Thule Trail, the TH864, TH864XT, TH865 and TH865XT.
