What is the minimum distance between inside bed side rails will this will fit? My minimum inside is about 53.3 inches. I will have to check that when son returns truck. thanks

Hey Paul, thanks for the picture! The etrailer Over-The-Cab Truck Ladder Rack item # e78FV fits truck beds that have at minimum 54" of space between the bed rails. This will not fit your 2026 Ford Maverick.
Instead, I recommend the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # A34FR84RQ. It is going to fit the 2026 Maverick and will attach to the stake pockets on top of the side bed rails. This makes it compatible with most brands of tonneau covers so long as they don't cover the stake pockets.
The Adarac item # A34FR84RQ includes two 66" long x 1-1/2" wide. The rack has a combined weight capacity of 500 lbs.
