Question:

How is roadmaster vs. Hellwig for sway bars? I have a 2500 sprinter with 170” WB.

Really good question Steve,

The best option would come down to driving habits and how the Sprinter is being used.

Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1209-128 is more aggressive sway control with a thicker 1-1/8 inch bar and known for maximum stability. So it's best when you have consistent heavy loads, top heavy lean or interstate travel.

Hellwig Rear Sway Bar # HE54FR prioritizes ride comfort over maximum control and is often easier on rough pavement. So it's best for city and daily driving, definitely an improvement over the stock.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Any roof gear or camper build that raises your van’s center of gravity?

The Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar came with excellent instructions is very good quality and was not difficult to install. I installed it by myself in about 3 hours total. I have a Sprinter 2500 with high roof option and the Anti-Sway bar has taken a good amount of sway out especially on windy days.

@MikeN appreciate you sharing your experience, RoadMaster anti-sway gives drivers peace of mind and can make a big difference especially with high roof vehicles.
