Is the B&W Continuum the Right Fit for a 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor Towing Rockwood Mini Lite?

Question:
I am looking at getting a bandw continuum wdh for my 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor with the hd towing package. I measured it to have a 2” receiver. We will be towing a Rockwood Mini Lite 2025bh trailer. Do you know if the standard BW78FR is the right one to get?

Hello Brian,
Thanks for finally finding an opportunity to write in.
Yes, the B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW78FR would be a great choice for your 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor with the HD towing package and your Rockwood Mini Lite 2505BH trailer.
Since your Expedition has the factory 2" receiver, the # BW78FR is the correct version to go with. The Continuum is a really nice setup because it combines weight distribution and sway control into one system that is very smooth and easy to dial in. It also does a great job keeping larger SUVs like the Expedition feeling stable and controlled while towing.
I actually helped a buddy of mine get set up with the Continuum on his trailer, and he has had nothing but great things to say about it. He said it made a huge difference in overall towing comfort and stability compared to his old setup.
Your Rockwood Mini Lite 2505BH is well within the capacity range of the # BW78FR, so you should be in really good shape with that combination.
I think you are going to be really happy with that setup once you get everything hooked up and out on the road. What kind of camping trips are you getting the Rockwood ready for?

Set this up on my 1999 F-350 with 8000# gross cougar 31 ft. Instructions could be better. numerous text and photos to BW to get the bar / spring angle correct . Too flat and psi is way too high , possibility of spring beakage. Bw said 1100 psi, when I got the angle right it was 1100. Just came back from the cat scales , setting it up on new gmc 3500 . weight rransfer is 180 # to steer axle and 120# to trailer axle same as on the last truck. Ground clearance makes me nervous, 61/2 - 7 inches. I think BW has an extended ball mount now, you can't lower the tailgate if you have a jack in front of propane tank. Im'm looking at turning my jack, don't think I will get the clearance though. I don't know if it tows any better than anything else. Backs up fine.

Brian, we get along great with our B&W hitch. Had to make a few slight modifications to the LP tank mount brace but no cutting or welding is necessary. I have a 2025 2506FK Rockwood Mini Lite and tow with a 2025 Tundra Limited. After a few trips and playing with different pressures it handles like a champ! It is by far the simplest and easiest hitch I have ever used. Gary
