Drill-Powered Jack With Wheel For 18 Foot Bass Boat Stored In A Tight Garage

Question:
I keep my 18-foot bass boat in the garage, and I have to angle the trailer by hand to get it tucked into the corner. My current jack has a wheel, but it’s getting hard to crank and roll it around. Is there a drill-powered option that still lets me roll the tongue around? or just crank?

Hey Wayne! For that kind of garage setup, I’d look at the etrailer Sidewind Aluminum Jack with Wheel - Swivel Bolt - 1.5K # e95YV.
It gives you the wheel you need for nudging the tongue around by hand, but it also includes a 19mm socket so you can raise and lower the jack with a standard non-impact drill. You can still crank it manually too, of course. The aluminum body and stainless steel hardware are a good match for a boat trailer too, especially if the jack is getting wet at the ramp and then sitting in the garage afterward.
It also swivels up along the frame when you tow, so the wheel is not hanging down on the road. Wayne, how tall is the frame on your boat trailer?
