7-Way Blade Connector for 1993 Ford F-150 With 7-Pin Round

Updated 05/16/2026 | Published 05/14/2026

Question:

My 1993 Ford F150 has a factory 7 round pin connector. I need an adaptor that will convert that to a 7 blade standard rv connector. Here’s the kicker, the factory outputs aren’t even close to modern rv 7 blade configuration. Positions 12 o’clock-ground 2-reverse 4-left turn 6-12volt 8-right turn 10-running Center-trailer brakes Any such adaptor or I can cut off existing connector and rewire a new one? Thank you

Hey Gregg! Nobody makes an adapter, so the best option is to cut off the existing connector and rewire a new one like you said. The Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket # PK12-707E is a good choice, they make a lot of the OEM stuff. You could also use the # PK36AV which includes a mounting bracket if you need it. You can use the wiring diagram below to match up all of the functions.

I used it to create a dongle between a 7 blade male adapter and my Lance truck camper female receptacle. I had to buy a Lance camper wire harness too, but it works just fine.
