Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Pollak Seven-Way Blade Connector with Bracket. So this is a seven-way blade socket, which is the standard connector you're gonna find on most vehicles for towing trailers. This is what allows your vehicle to communicate with the trailer for things like brake lights, turn signals, running lights, and auxiliary power. It comes with this integrated metal mounting bracket.
So you're gonna be able to accurately attach, or securely, rather than accurately, but both, I guess, if you want to be technical about it, attach it to your vehicle in a fixed, stable position. There's not gonna be any need to figure out a separate mounting solution. So this is basically gonna be your all-in-one solution here, which is great. There's also this protective plastic cover that's going to flip over the socket when it's not in use. It is spring loaded.
So this is going to protect those contacts from weather and the elements when this is not in use. Inside, this is designed with a layout that's gonna help reduce the risk of short circuit, so you're gonna get a more reliable performance over time. The seven terminal configuration means it's gonna support all the common trailer functions, like I mentioned, lighting, brakes, auxiliary power. So again, this is gonna be a complete solution for you. Hardware is included with this.
If you decide that this is gonna be exactly what you need, but you're not excited about the installation, we've got you covered on that front as well. On this product page, underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link and answer any questions that it has for you and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to wire this up for you. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
