Replacement Bearing Kit for Dexter 4,400 lbs Axles

I have a 2024 keystone cougar sport 2700bh. i am looking for the correct bearing kits to replace and grease them. The axles are dexter 4,400 lbs. I believe I need the DX86ER kit, does that sound correct? Thank you

Hey Brandon, thanks for the information! You are correct. The Dexter Bearing Kit item # DX86ER is exactly what you'll need if your Keystone Cougar has Dexter 4,400 lbs axles. This kit is designed to replace one hubs worth of bearings, races, seal, tang washer, and even comes with a replacement cotter pin.

Please note that the Dexter Bearing Kit item # DX86ER will only be the correct one if you have Dexter 4,400 lbs axles. I highly recommend verifying if you haven't already that yours is a Dexter axle. If it isn't or you just want me to double check go ahead and send me a picture of one of your axle tags directly to the email address you receive this response from.

I am doing routine maintained and repacking the bearings. these are just to have incase my bearings are starting to go bad.

@Brandon Thanks for the picture Brandon. Since your Dexter 4,400 lbs axle was built in 2023 the Dexter Bearing Kit item # DX86ER is the correct one.

Hey Scott! The correct bearing kit for your Dexter 6k axle is the Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal #BK3-100. If you want the Dexter version it is the #DX26ER. What kind of trailer do you have?

Hey Kaleb, if you look at the inner portion of the Grease Seal Kit part #DX49CR you can see three lips/ridges. That is what is meant by triple lip. I attached a picture that has the section to look at.

The 171255UC seal is the same as the Dexter 010-11088/K71-G01-80. We have that same seal available as the Grease Seal Kit- Triple Lip - Inner Diameter 1.719" - Outer Diameter: 2.565" - Qty 2 #DX49CR.
