Updated 05/11/2026 | Published 05/06/2026

Question:

I have a 2025 Ford E-series 450 chasis and am installing a Roadmaster RSSC Reflex Steering Stabilizer. Can I use a RM-RBK11-RSSC mounting bracket or a RM-RBK24-RSSC mounting bracket?

Hey Bob, thanks for reaching out. For the Roadmaster RSSC Reflex Steering Stabilizer on a 2025 Ford E450 chassis you'll need the RBK24 mounting bracket. I double checked with Roadmaster and confirmed this. We sell this as a full kit with the RSSC and brackets. For that you'll need the following:

- Roadmaster Reflex RV Steering Stabilizer with Mtg Brackets # RM-RBK24-RSSC

What motorhome coach do you have?

I installed Hellwig Front Anti-Sway Bar - 1-3/8" Diameter (HE26GR) on my 2014 Class C Ford-E450 last year. I am using RM-RBK24-RSSC brackets. I can see big improvement and better handling on the road. Especially driving in high wind and when big rig passing by. Also Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System (TFEF350) is also help with the suspension. Very easy to install. Need to recheck and calibrate few times to get perfect alignment.

I was told about the reflex steering from an other RV friend, when I was talking to him about the amount of play in steering. He told me about this I bought and had a mechanic install on RV for 165. And the ride couldn't be better, it is worth the money even at 2x the cost.

Installed it myself on a 2022 Entegra Esteem 29V, along with RM front and rear anti-sway bars. Wasn’t difficult to install, and made a noticeable difference in steering. If you’re towing a car or trailer is when I noticed the most improvement, such as when turning a sharp corner as on a city street in traffic after the turn you don’t have to turn the wheel around to get straight again you can just let the steering wheel slide through your hand back to center. Going down the highway your rv feels much more stable even if the road isn’t level or crowned in center and has dips in the surface. I would buy again.

@DeanT Thanks for taking the time to share that, Dean, really appreciate the detailed feedback. It’s great to hear how much of a difference you noticed, especially when towing and on uneven roads. That’s exactly the kind of real-world insight that helps others know what to expect. Glad the install went smoothly for you too!

To those interested in my experience with the Rodeomaster steering stabilizer. It made a noticeable difference in handling. On May 15th, I'm installing a Hellwig 11/2 inch rear sway bar, and sumo springs all the way around. Leaving Memorial Day for a 10-day trip with several campground stops through the Everglades, then back up the west coast of Florida. I'll leave a report on how those upgrades performed. All upgrade parts purchased from ETrailer.

@Ken Thanks for sharing that, Ken, sounds like a great setup you’ve got coming together. Glad to hear the steering stabilizer already made a noticeable difference, that’s always a good sign you’re heading in the right direction. Your trip sounds awesome too, looking forward to hearing how the sway bar and Sumo springs perform out on the road. Safe travels and enjoy the ride!
